Our guided tour of Pompeii is an immersive experience that transforms a simple archaeological visit into an emotional journey into the heart of the Roman Empire. Accompanied by an expert and passionate guide, you will walk through the paved streets, the domus decorated with frescoes in still vivid colors, the shops and ovens that still smell of ancient bread.
Along the way, the guide will weave stories of everyday life, myths and curiosities: how the Pompeians lived, what they ate, how they had fun… and how, in a single day, the sky darkened, transforming the city into a masterpiece of stone and silence.

Tour Details
Explore the legendary Pompeii on an organized tour. For the pick-up location, please see the “pick-up information” section below. Transfer to Pompeii (where provided) with new and comfortable mini-vans all equipped with air conditioning and driven by professional and experienced drivers. Arrival in Pompeii near the entrance to the ancient ruins. The guide (if option chosen) will take you on a fascinating tour of about 2 hours to visit the Forum with the most important public buildings, the ancient thermal baths, the Lupanare, the theaters, the shops, the frescoes and the mosaics of the Domus, buried by a rain of lapilli during the eruption of 79 BC. You will have the opportunity to discover the daily life of the Roman city and relive the image of the panic that upset the population during the disastrous eruption. After the visit you will have a few minutes to visit the many souvenir shops, take a break at the bar or stop for lunch at the pizzeria (where provided). At the end of the visit, you will be taken back to the place you indicated when booking or to the meeting point (option from Rome).
Pick-up Information
Hotel pick-up: at all hotels and b&bs in Naples. The hotel will be indicated by the customer at the time of booking.
Port pick-up: at the Beverello pier or the Calata gate pier in Naples respectively upon the arrival of hydrofoils and ferries from the islands of the gulf. The driver will be waiting on the pier with a name sign.
Cruise pick-up: at the Maritime Station upon arrival of cruise ships. Immediately near the ship, the driver will be waiting with a name sign.
Central Station pick-up: at the entrance of the garage of the Star hotel Terminus located immediately outside the central station of Naples on the left hand side. The driver will be waiting with a name sign.
